Easy Smoked Cream Cheese Recipe

If you’ve never tried Smoked Cream Cheese you don’t know what you’ve been missing. Try this recipe once and you’ll be hooked for life.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces block cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons dry rub
  • ¼ cup jam or jelly

Method
 

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225 F
  2. Remove the cream cheese from its packaging and place on a baking sheet lined with foil or in a cast iron pan
  3. Use a knife to score the top of the block in a crosshatch pattern
  4. Season the top and sides of the block with your favorite barbecue rub or seasoning
  5. Place on the smoker and smoke for an hour (or up to 2 hours for more smoky flavor)
  6. Remove from the smoker, drizzle with jam, and serve with crackers, pita, Fritos, or crudités
